I've found my Vectrix XL to be very smooth to draw and shoot, too. I just have to get my muscles built up to drawing through the draw force curve at 59# or so. I've been shooting 48# longbows and recurves prior to selling them and buying the Vectrix XL. There's a world of difference in the energy under the draw force curve for the XL versus my longbows and recurves.
