As far as the girl shooting a nice buck two years in a row,if you're talking about the same episode I saw I think it was the owners daughter or granddaughter. Sorry Vabowman, I thought I did mention the cattle part. Here in IL and WI there are fences too, to keep the dairy cows in the pastures or out of the cropfields. Low fences do nothing to stop deer movement and I think you still qualify for P&Y and B&C. And no I don't hunt that way, couldn't afford it and probably wouldn't do it anyway. If however I could afford to go on an elk hunt I would do it with a guide, the logistics of me being able to scout, plan and supply a trip like that would make it virtually impossible as a DIY trip, the first time around anyway.
