RE: Bucks of Tecomonte... what a joke..
Almost every place I have hunted has a fence to some extent. Most cases it is a boundry marker, or maybe to keep some predators out. Usually it is there because someone wanted it there for some reason or another. And I don't think it has ever been to keep deer in.
To answer your earlier question, no I have never hunted like this, or gone on a guided hunt. I am poor, that would never even be an option for me. On top of that I will not pay to hunt deer. I don't do it for the trophy aspect, I do it because the state wants me to and I enjoy it. I won't pay more than I have to do it though. I won't even lease land, I will just find something else to do that doesn't involve that kind of money if comes to it.
Your first post does a bit more than imply that someone may not be that great of a hunter. Ripping on some girl for killing something in a way you don't see fit is a far cry from that. If you can't see that there is no explaining it to you. I honestly can't see a purpose to posting it in the first place other than to make someone else look or feel bad. She was probably as excited as all get out to shoot that deer. Then someone like you wants to come along and tell her it didn't mean anything? I really just don't get that.
I have never in my life killed an animal and felt it was belittled because of the way I took its life. Never once have I stood over a dead animal and thought to myself it didn't mean anything because it was too easy.
