Default RE: Defending Mathews....

ORIGINAL: gutshot

After the post last week hammering Mathews for not coming out with anything earth shattering this year I went on the Hoyt and Bowtech websites to see what innovations that they've come up with and I've didn't see anything on either site that impressed me. Now I'm a "Mathews fanboy" and always will be but why isn't anybody slamming these other companies for their lack of innovation this year? Bring it on fella's
Well as far as innovations, it looks like bowtech is refining thier pivot designs, and also came out with a few screamers. I mean, the pivot designs have only been out for a year, not sure what innovations you expect? No company would want to put out somethign to hurt thier sales of hot products. Like PSE does. Mathew on the other hand, same old single cam, different weights, different ATA. Bowtech has the same thing with diamond. I like mathews, but they have to come up with something sooner or later or it will bite them.

I shot the new mathews real short bow last week, and can't believe they put out something so unbalanced. Just falls forward, and no way of putting on some wieght in teh back to balance it. I like the drenalin, lot like my bowtech liberty. But prefer the wider switchback limb design. I think it makes teh idler wheel more balanced.
