Like the Taz says, the deer will move unless it is a virtual downpour. The only problem is trying to keep yourself comfortable while out there. The only type of hunting I do is self climbing and when you put up a tree you plan on staying several hours so stay at home on those days the weather forecast calls for torrential downpours. It would really be nice if the manufacturers would lower the price of Goretex. If they would I could throw away my old rubber.

I don't hunt downpours anymore.I find it difficult to see deer, and impossible to locate the sweet spot to aim at.
I do like hunting in a light rain or drizzle or mist(without fog.I have walked up on a lot of deer in the rain.
I've also had several deer walk or run up to me in the rain.
