I was going on figures Rob/PA gave me yesterday....that he heard reported on the radio on your opener Monday (the 375,000 firearms kills) - 2006 numbers. He also gave me a figure of 150,000 Antlered killed in that figure (included in the 375,000). If my numbers are off....I apologize.
By the way.... why aren't you out in the woods?
I've killed a few deer, this year....
....and my mgmt. goalhas "almost" been met (I wanted to take 8 does out of the herd....and we're on 7, right now.....with 3 weeks to go in the season). I'll take a day off here and there in the next three weeks.....but to be honest with you....I'd just as soon someone else come over and kill the last doe or two. I'll take one if I get a slam-dunk opportunity.....but I had just as much fun watching someone take one as I would have taking another one, myself. I suspect I'll be hunting a couple days this week, though
