I put a post on here earlier about what was better between a TC encore and a triumph and got some good input. BuT since then, I found a place selling an encore at a good price and i was just wondering what the comparision between a triumph and an encore would be...this is not the encore pro hunter, he told me it is like last years model encore and not the pro hunter like is out now...any advice?
The difference between the Pro Hunter and the Encore is really just aesthetic. Not really last years model at all. Barrels, stocks and all are interchangable. PH has the flextech stock, 28" fluted barrel, swing hammer and I believe a quick speed removal breech plug (but not like the triumph where you don't need a wrench).
I have an Encore, and handled a Triumph today for the first time... and after just handling the thing... I am going to make the Triumph my next muzzleloader.
