this is what im good at, i luv trappping. Especially rabbits. I've never trapped a snow hare but many cottintail. It depends on the conditions whether to use bait or to set on a trail. Heavy snow, its hard for them to get food so use bait like apples or lettuce. Plain ground you can do both, if their usin a trail heavy you can use a rail set trap.if its just a sometimes use, you should go with the bait. And again if its a havey snow, find their den and set one there\. hope i was helpful.
