Hey, I've been squirrel hunting now for some years and bought a Squirrel Bust call that came will a cassette that helped me call and what call I was representing for which squirrel I would be hunting. I have noticed over the years that squirrels are never active before dawn, but one that first flash of sunlight hits the ground, squirrels are running around in search of nuts and nest-making material. I have only seen one squirrel actually call out to another; a small red squirrel making a high pitched squall to whoever wanted to listen. I have used my call in the efforts to locate and call squirrels closer to me.

I was just wondering if anyone has had real luck with their call and when is the best time to call out to all nearby squirrels. I would be much more pleased to learn how to locate them with a bark rather than actually calling them in. Any tips would be very helpful! Thanks and good luck!
