I shoot the 1300 as well for both turkey and deer, and with a fully rifled barrel and using the Lightfield slugs, it groups well out to 75 yards tops. After that, it can't hold a group??? I'd suggest trying some Hornady's SST's and see how they group if you decide on the 1300!!
