Default RE: Polaris vs Honda

Sorry,

I know I' m coming into this a little late, but just had to respond. I live in " Polaris County" , up here in the snowmobiling capitol of the world-the UP of Michigan. Most anybody I know around here that use their ATV' s for work, including the public workers, have all stayed away from or gotten rid-of, their Polaris.

I guess it depends on what your intended use is. If you want and ATV for comfort, speed, agility, little to no hard work, little use, and fun.....go with the Polaris.

If you want your ATV for hard work, heavy hauling, to use and abuse, and to keep for 10+ years....go with the Honda.

A farmer in the thumb area said it to me best, " If you want an ATV so your wife(or husband ) can have a nice ride as she brings your lunch to you while you are out in the field, buy a Polaris, but if you' re going to work with it in that field, buy a Honda or Kawasaki" .

I see the most use around here of the Polaris are the family' s or hunters that come up here only 4 or 5 times a year to play around and have some fun. They leave them in the garages or trailer them up from the city, and have a great time! The Polaris is probably the best thing for them. It all probably boils down to one question....Play or Work?
