Default New 2007 Hoyt Vectrix XL

We went to visit my son and his family for Thanksgiving. My son and I spent about two and a half hours Friday shooting my new 2007 Hoyt Vectrix XL and with him making adjustments so the old man could draw it, hold it steady without shaking like a leaf in a 45 mph wind, and adjusting the sight.

The Vectrix XL is everything I've read it to be, hoped it to be, and then some. It is very smooth drawing, very quiet and quite quick for a 55#ish bow shooting a 411 gr arrow. I might have to take a look at going to a bit lighter arrow, but I'm shooting it pretty well out to 30 yards as it is with the top two pins on my Copper John DN2 Supreme sight. The .019" fiber optics are very bright and being as small as they are they are much easier for me to shoot than the .029" fiber optics I've shot in the past. And the string and cable set Jeff built and installed on my bow is top shelf quality!!
Great Bow! Great job by Jeff!!
