I have 4 of them that I have made out of 1" by 1" aluminum tubing. The first one that I did, I cut all of the pieces, and then took them to a guy that did aluminum welding. Had him weld the seat part, and the standing platform. Then I bolted everything together myself. I work in a bodyshop, so when I was all done, I painted them all up. The most expencive part was the welding, so after the first one, I just started bolting everything together. By the time I got done with them, I coiuld have went to Cabelas, and bought one for the same price, if not cheaper. But the best part about making my own, was that I could make them what ever size I wanted. I even made 1 of them so I coiuld flip up the seat, if I wanted to stand for a while.
