Default RE: .243 question

I was going to buy the NEF for my Daughters to use during the Missouri Youth Hunts because it looked like a really nice made gun but it was a little heavy and I didn't care for the way the trigger hammer blocked the view of the barrel sights when it was in the up position. You had to pull the trigger back in the firing position to see the sights and I didn't think that would work very well or be safe thing for a Youth to be doing?

I ended up buying a Rossi Youth Gun with the 3 barrel combination of a .243,the 20 gauge shotgun and a 22 LR barrel for $230.00.It has a nice carrying case for the extra barrels and the gun has swivels for a carrrying strap,an extension to pull the trigger back and a safety on the side of the gun.The gun came with a free Weaver scope mount and it also has the blued barrel with the wood stock and it is light and easy to use for a young Hunter.I put a Tru-Glo Red Dot scope on the .243 barrel and even though the 22LR barrel came with some really nice fiber optic sights I put a Tru-Glo Red Dot scope on it also.
