RE: What scope for a Remington ML

You don't need to spend any more than that to get a high quality scope perfectly suited for a muzzleloader.I own these scopes listed below which can be had for less than 200 bucks. They all are warrented for life.
Nikon Buckmaster 3X9X40 on my T/C Omega and I really, really like it. It is very bright, rugged, and has held zero for three years now. I picked it up "used" on ebay for $140.00.
Burris Fullfield II 3X9X40 with a ballistic plex reticle. You can get it for about $200.00. I recently bought one on ebay for $145.00. Very bright, lifetime warrenty, rugged, fully multicoated.
Bushnell Elite 3200. I have the 4X12 on a .243 with ballistic reticle but you can get the 3X9X40 for around $200.00. It has all the features of the other two plus the raingard coatings that allow you to see a target even when the lens surfaces are fogged or wet from rain. This is a real technology breakthrough in hunting optics in my opinion. I hunted in the rain all day yesterday and was just amazed at how well I could see, even when I purposely fogged the ocular lens with my breath.
Another onethat I would definitely buy: Sightron SI or SII.
