I have both the rifles you are looking at. I would chose the A-Bolt over the Tikka. many think that the mag system on the A-bolt is "over-designed" I think it is perfect. What more could a guy ask for? A mag that allows top loading, swing it open and load it, or swing it open and pop it out an load it. The 60 degree bolt throw, and bolt are smooth as glass, the trigger isn't the greatest from the factory, but are easily adjustable.

The Tikka does come with a MOA guarantee for 3 shots at 100 yards. It has a silky smooth bolt, and an adjustable trigger that can be made into sweetness.

If it was me making the choice, I'd opt for the A-bolt mainly because it fits me better than any production rifle, and mine shoots lights out.
