RE: Shockwave: Looking for more consistency
There are some new weights of shockwaves out, and new styles. It sounds like your grabbing some of the different ones that came out. And you're right. It will change where they hit. What I would do is go on line and buy in bulk the Shockwaves that work for me. I'm talking like five or more packs. That way I would have plenty for the season and shooting.
As for a different bullet in the price range. There really is no bullet like a Shockwave that is cost effective. They know they have us, and they soak it to us. Bulk bullets like the XTP are good to shoot and very good on deer. But if you're shooting long distance, and your rifle likes them. then I would stick with the shockwave.
