It's not the movement that would concern me--it's the rubber band and matchstick landing on dry leaves. Dang deer here are easy to spook.....

Kirk, if you have a recurve with the shelf sitting close to your hand, extreme cant isn't a problem--works the same as a longbow. 'Course I still prefer longbows, but I shoot a recurve the same way.
