Carbon won' t dent. If it looks dented, it' s because the carbon matrix under the finish coating has been crushed and the coating is dented in over it. The ' dent' is now a weak spot in the shaft and even if it doesn' t break, it could affect the spine and how the arrow shoots. I wouldn' t shoot a carbon arrow with that kind of damage again.
