Buy a new Rem 700 ADL/SPS the lower price 700 action or a brand new Savage, which ever you like when you pick them up and hold. If you buy the Savage do not buy the scope package, the scope is worth nothing. Do not buy a Rem 710 or any other model than the 700. I make this statement because both of these guns are great values and the price new will probably not be a whole lot more than used. I would have to be able to pay $250 or less and the gun be guaranteed by the owner to shoot well, before I would choose used over new.
