Well I filled my bow tag and decided I needed to make sure that my ML was sighted in. I had a lot of help from before and even got to talk to Sabotloader on the phone. I learned a lot and tried a lot of stuff. Well here is where I am at!! I ended up buying another scope because I couldn't hit a paper plate at 100 yards with my gun after trying everything I was suggested to do. So I went and got another scope actually a ML scope. I got a Traditions Scope and placed it on the ML. I have an Apex if anyone wants to know. I have tried four different types of powders and 5 different types of bullets. 3 different types of sabots and a lot of different powder measurements. I have also tried to free float my barrel. Okay today I took it out and at 50 yards I could place three bullets on top of each other, man I was really starting to get excited after I did that. So I moved back to 100 yards hit the paper plate three times however my group was 5 to 6 inches. I was starting to get upset again. Well the more I shot the worse things got. After a little bit I couldn't hit the plate anymore and decided to talk to the local gun shop. They told me they just had another set of guys in there with the same problem and different gun. What the guy at the shop told me is that a lot of people are having problems with the scope holding up to the muzzleloader. He suggested that I send the scope back in. Well I did that however I think I am ready to get rid of the muzzleloader also. I don't know what to do and just about threw the gun across the field after I was finished. Well any suggestions before I sell the gun let me know. Another thing everyone is telling me they have a hard time believing it is the gun but I am not so sure anymore.
Well to end on a positive not here is the buck I shot with my bow. I hope everyone is having good luck this hunting season and I have been seeing a lot of huge deer this year I am pumped for Late Muzzleloader Season even though I can't hit the broadside of the barn.
