I've got a marlin with a bull barrel and Nikkon scope that cost almost as much has the rifle. I'm not a very good shot and i knocked a crow out of the top of a tree at about 240 yards. I think that is is a great gun for combined squirrel and crow hunting and wouldn't be afraid to try a shot at a coyote or fox at up to 200 yards with it. And yes guys, I know that the .17 isnt a good coyote gun, but it will do in a pinch.
