Even though what is legal is often times what is moral, it is not always the case.
The prime example of this is how the United States was formed. The founding fathers broke several laws to do what they thought was right, and nobody is criticizing them.
If my state did not allow hunting on Sunday because of church related idealogy, I would be motivated to go anyways because this violates "seperation of church and state."
