Stick with the 700 remington , go with either the 300 WM or the 7mm Mag. you can do almost anything with these and they will be a little
better than a 270 or 7-08. if you think of doing Elk at all .
Try WalMart , if you have one , or basspro or Cabelas , but the best is a good used one on line at Gun Broker or Guns America. Alot less money.
