I went to the range today with my Remington 700 muzzle loader. And tried the teflon tape on the breech plug. I got idea from a post I read awhile back from sabotloader I believe. Had pictures how to wrap plug. I shot 29 shots using 100 grains of 777 2f and 250 grain shockwaves. Gun is shooting good. Well when I got home to clean gun the plug broke loose with little effort and twisted right out. Real pleased with results and will continue to use tape.
