vabyrd you are correct on would rather see a manufacture put money into making their guns to make a better product. Remington guns have gone to crap the older remington are great but are going down hill now. I was not tring to compare a comp gun to a hunting gun i know that is a very big difference.I like the long range shooting and have a place to hunt where i can shoot long range that is one of the big reasons that i have a 6.5 x .284 for deer hunting but my 7mm and .270 also does a great job at long distance.
