People with shorter draw lengths usually have a more forgiving set up. We can shoot shorter brace height and shorter axle to axle bows better than someone with a much longer draw length. On paper anyway, it really boils down to how good your form is.

If you look at a lot of the records set in archery from what I understand most were set by people with shorter draw lengths.
