I raise the bow first and "aim" and then draw straight back, as little movement as possible. I also shoot with both eyes open. When I switched to that, my groups got way better. You kind of have to train your brain at first. But, I can see both the pin and the target, one with each eye. If that makes sense
Ditto, exactly - with a peep. Your field of view is HUGE with both eyes open, you'll love it once you get used to it.
Caution on trying both eyes open...when you first do it, you may get double vision or the wrong eye may try to take over. Make sure you have a good target backstop...you could send one 3ft off... LOL, been there done that. I switched about 10yrs ago, 1 million times better.
A good way to know if you are "on target" when learning and training yourself, is to close your opposite eye occasionally to make sure your pin is on the target.
Good luck, by next season you will be doing it I am sure. Don't switch now...but you can start getting used to it.
