I agree, before you shoot take a second to remember how to shoot correctly. For some reason buck fever makes you forget everything. Breath & squeeze, and remember … it’s just a deer. I was shooting tight patterns all day long at the range but when I shot at a buck for the first time I did everything wrong. Heart bounding, held my breath, pulled the trigger hard, and then looked up as soon as I fired. I missed twice before the buck finally just walked into the woods slowly.
