You want something that not many other people have check out the new rounds by Hornady in this month's Guns and Ammo magazine. they have come out with 2 new short magnum cartridges based on cut down 375 ruger cases. They are 300RCM and 338RCM (Ruger Compact Magnum). If I read right the 338RCM closely duplicates the 338 Win mag in a 308 win length action and 20" barrel.
