Now if we could get these Magnum charging guys to cut back their powder, they'll start having success with a powerbelt and leave massive blood trails like the one i got with the 225 aerotip.
This quote surprises me...I used to use 245 gr Areo tipped Powerbelts over 90 grs of Pyrodex with great accuracy
(1" groups at 100 yards)but the bullets performed horribly on deer...They did not pass thru nor did they produce any internal damge other then a bullet hole through the lungs...Both deer were hit with double lung shots never left a blood trail and traveled up to 100 yards...I found them both doing grid searches because I knew I had made good hits from the deers reacton to the shotat 20 and 50 yards
He shoots them at 70g of Goex or Pyrodex, low charge, they are good to go at that charge, from what I have read. When you get around 100g, then is when you have problems on close shots, they fragment at close shots because of the HP. Chap
