Anti's are a fact of life. We can't change their minds so I don't even try. Occasionally, you'll get someone on the fence and when you explain things they understand, maybe even agree. Then there are some that just "know" its wrong, no matter how you put it. Why do we have canine teeth? Not to eat tofu and lettuce. Why try to change nature and make us omnivores strictly herbivores? Because there is some twisted sense of right and wrong regarding the food chain. For some that aren't vegitarians, if meat doesn't come in styrofoam trays wrapped in plastic it just isn't fit for human consumption... Well, those people are easier to talk to. They may not like the idea of shooting bambi or get sick at the thought of eating venison, but chances are that they will be just as upset if you describe how that sirloin got to their local Stop and Shop meat counter... They just would prefer to be "civilized" and not know where their meat comes from but eat it anyway. For goodness sake, SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!! (just thought I'd throw in that obscure reference...)
