Well I talked to one of my fellow teachers the other day and he is an anti hunter and a vegan. He does not understand why we "kill" animals. This got me thinking, do we as hunters need to be more politically correct? Why do I find myself changing terminology when talking to antis and non-hunters? Think about it, ask yourself if you do the following, and then you will know if you are P.C.
1. Do you "kill" or "harvest" an animal? KILL
2. Are you a "hunter" or "Conservationist" BOTH
3. Are you a mature deer hunter or trophy hunter? There is a difference to these people. MATURE (Does and Bucks)
4. Do you shoot a deer or arrow one? SHOOT
5. Did youmake a bad shot or a marginal one? BAD
6. Do you find blood or sign? BLOOD and SIGN
What is the result? A successful hunt.
