not exactly sure about that. GBO has a few guys shooting 195 grain powerbelts that love them and swear by the performance they do on deer.
I still say a 195 grain powerbelt is to small for even a small deer.
I would agree with you, they are small but shot placement is king, so even the 195 will work on a broadside shot into the boiler room. Chap
