From what I've read and learned.....

Does will be in estrous, on average, over a period of a couple to three weeks. A buck will stay with a hot doe and breed her over and over for a couple of days at a time. So.....assuming he's a super-buck....he could breed as many as 10. My "guess" is the number is lower than that (6-7) in most areas, though.

I'm sure someone will set me straight if my info is inaccurate.
