Thanks, I am pretty set on a 44 mag. I am already committed to using my Rem. 870 with fully rifled barrel and Hornady sst's for this year. It worked well last yeartoo. I like that gun, but I really want something that I can enjoy shooting a little more. The recoil is killing me.

The other reason is the 44 mag ammo is alot less expensive than sabots. I was looking pretty hard into an inline muzzleloader until I found out about this new option.

It looks like I can get a single shot in 44 mag for $200-250. I can hide that amount from my wife! She would probably notice $600-800 for one of the lever action ones.
