Well good news, My youngest son cody (age 14) got his 1stbuck. 7:38 am a nice deer came in and he shot, the deer took off and i went to see if he hit it. yep, found the blood trail. Followed that trail for over 3 hours and well over a mile. But we got it. a nice little 7 point buck. Took nearly another 2 hours dragging it back to our hunting spot. Up very steep hills, man i am tired. Forgot to mention, he shot it in the neck and it still ran well over a mile.
