I hope the 17 HMR doesn' t become another 5mm Remington.You' ll be holding a rifle with no ammuntion available. I haven' t shot one or been around one being shot.If you read the reviews(which you can' t believe)they are tack drivers.My dealer was paid a visit from a Ruger Rep several months ago.Ruger was very impressed with the tight groups they were getting at 200 yards.I can' t remember exactly what they claimed ,but if it was true it would be impressive.I' ve thrown around the idea of getting one. Until I see they are here to stay,I' ll stick with 22mag.
