Practice from a tree. I bet you didnt pick a spot on the deer. You probably shot at it. Very common mistake made by new bow hunters. Next time, find a spot on the deer. A crease in a muscle, a tuft of hair, etc. and aim at it. Dont just aim at an area. Ive found that advise hasa helped many new bow hunters before.
