Last Saturday morning I was seen on stand by a young buck at 25 yards. I was hunting lower to the ground that morning and he picked up my scent and looked directly at me for about45 seconds - 1 minute. He bobbed his head a few times trying to figure out what I was, and then walked away from me in the direction he came. He didn’t blow or stomp or anything, but I knew I got busted. I am wondering if I have ruined this spot and for how long. A week? Two weeks?
