I experienced this last night, and was more content with letting him walk because i'm pretty inexperienced and all my friends talk about all these ridiculously long shots they take and I just didn't want to wound this deer so I let him go with both shots. All in all it was still a great encounter. The brush is 5 feet in front of him and its the upper part of small maple trees because he was on the start of a hill when he was 20 yards.Thanks for the help guys!
