I haven't been out yet. I'm going down to hunt the Fall River unit (N. or Pe Ell) in the morning. The wife wants to go shopping tomorrow evening, so I may only get to hunt the morning. If I find elk, though, she's gonna have to postpone the shopping. Priorities! Hopefully I'll get to hunt most of next weekend too. Kinda tough to drive 2 hours, hunt 3 hours, and then drive back 2 hours. Not much time to find elk in there. I'll just have to cover as much ground as possible.

Good luck in the Winston. I hunted it in the early season last year, but the crowds were just too much. It sucks that they change the restrictions during the middle of the season, but at least you've found some elk to chase. That's a big advantage on the jungle side. There's lots of places for them to hide.
