I was back in the same spot I was in last night when he came by at 40 to 45 yards in the woods. Tonight was another story. I was in my tree and settled at 3:30 just relaxing and hoping to see some deer. When about 4:15 or so I see him coming through the brush. So I quickly stand and go ahead and draw before he gets to my lane. Well wouldn't you know he was facing me. I have to let down, wait about 5 minutes then draw again. Still facing me and would not move. I had to let down again. This happened 2 more times before had a chance to release my arrow. He was quartering to me a good bit but my arrow did its job. He went about 70 or 80 yards before expiring. I just can't type how excited I am about this. I was even lucky enough that he ran out of the bottom I was in, up the hill and just 20 yards from the road, all level ground from there. Here are the pictures.
TEAM 40 has another on the board.
Thanks Everyone.
