well if thats your choice rats but look at it like this, ya ever see a remmy 1100 12 ga in a troopers car? they use 870's, the 7615 was designed for that group, the 7615 handles more like an 870 than an AR.

My dad was a state trooper for thirty years and carried a Remington Model 11 (made on Browning patent) for most of those years. He swore by it, and it saved his life once. I wish he would have been able to keep it once he retired, but he was only able to keep his service revolver.
The use of pumps by police has more to do with budgetary constraints than anything, IMHO. But, I'll take either and use them with equal effectiveness.
