Thanks for the info I'm going to check the area off thompson crk rd in the next couple of days. Another area iv'e been looking at is on the back side of alder lake and the far east end of the skook. I know there's a lot of timber land but you also have the snoqualmie national forest right there as well. The private timber lands are most likely gated but the national forest should be open. I'm going to scout there as well this week so if I find anything good I'll let you know. By the way be very careful in the Bucoda area and around the steam plant it is all closed and they do patrol it. I've heard rumors that you can request access but I have never been able to find out which office to talk to.
