Not much luck here. Saw nothing yesterday morning. Was a bit windy at noon but decided to go anyway (following the example of our cap'n ). Was in my stand for about an hour when I heard some distant rumble. Out here in the middle of nowhere you can here things for miles so I wasn't too concerned. Before you know it the rumble wasn't so distant anymore. Called the wife quick to check the radar and she advised me I'd better get home. My bow just touched the ground as the first rain drops started. As I was unhooking my harness from the tree the lightning began. The wind hasn't stopped since but is supposed to stop by tomorrow. Going to move a stand today and setup a hang on I bought over the weekend.
Rob, Lightening is one thing Iwont risk.. good choice.. I had a day in Sept this year that scared the living chit out of me... lightening and thunder boomer moved in on me, I remember saying outloud..."OK, God I am scared.. LMAO.. As I bailed out of the tree!

Good luck when the storms die down..
