I was successful this September with 125 grain Eastman First Cuts, old school two edge fixed broadheads... Pass through an elk with some angle, (I was upslope from him and it was steep).. He expired as expected, lots of blood 2" wide blood trail to his first bedding site and left a big puddle with some nice pink foam.

I will use the same next year or I am also considering Sonics Pros based on the experience of some people I know. They've raved about them and recovered a few broadheads that were in good shape with all blades attached..

Will be a tough decision but I have a year to worry about that.
