I've killed over a half dozen bucks during the middle of the day, including two of my better ones. They were all with gun though, and one had been moved by other hunters. For some reason, I've never had much luck with bow during that time, even though I've tried.

One of my most memorable was in OK, 80 degrees, 1:00 pm. The day had started out in the low 40's, with wind of course, so I had all my warm stuff on, ended up completely shirtless dealing with the kill. This buck was chasing a doe.
