yes to the mounting; he's at local taxidermist already.

Believe it or not he's actually a 7x7 - hard to see in photo, but each side has one small (3") abnormal point directly behind the brow tines. and the last point on left side (my right in photo) is only 3.5", again hard to see in photo. We have someone set up to take official measurements after 60th day, but our unofficial (and not terribly acurate) measurement immediately after harvest came in at 385 - so maybe 340-350 after drying out?

A couple other hunters in same unit told us the came across an even larger 7x8 later that same day in the same area, unfortunately they all had cow tags - and this is on public land!
