They claim they will just pop off and let the arrow go on through. You pull your nock out, install it on the rear of your shaft, and then reinstall your nock. The nock has to come off to let the FOB off. I think it would HAVE to hinder penetration some, but the broadhead is already through by the time the fob gets there, I dont know, but Im gonna find out!!
